Larry later volunteered and worked with the Freeport Auxiliary Police Department. He then was employed in Civil Service for 20 years. He was on various Air Craft Carriers and worked mostly as an Electrician. Larry served in the United States Navy for 20 years, which included the Vietnam Era. 2, 1940, in Freeport, the son of Everett and Elaine Becker. BECKER, 70, of Freeport died on Monday at his home. She was preceded in death by one son, Merton, who died in 1955, and one brother. Willard (Servina) Fox, Miss Ruby Beck, and Miss Joanna Beck, all of Freeport one sister, Miss Lillian Brady of Freeport two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Beck was a member of First Methodist Church. She married Charles Beck November 4, 1891. She was born in Stephenson County October 25, 1873, daughter of Frederick and Caroline (Kloepping) Brady. Moseley Street, died in her home early this morning. Jean (Carl) Swartz of Waupaca, Wisconsin and two grandchildren. Beck was born August 26, 1897, the daughter of Mr. Therefore, she probably died Friday, Dec 9, 1983.) She was a resident of New York state for the past five years. This obituary states that graveside serve was to be on December 12, 1983, which was a Monday. (Alice Horner's note: The Social Security Death Index gives this date as December 1983 it gives her last residence as Ossining, Westchester County, New York. ĭORIS (MERTON) BECK, 86, formerly of Freeport, died Friday in New York state. These people have the sympathy of their friends in the village. Oliver Bear buried their baby, Grace Elmira, on Sunday. Taft buried their boy Frank Clyde on Friday, and J. Joseph's Catholic church, and burial will be in Freeport. Funeral services will be held in Freeport Tuesday morning at 9 o'clok at St. Bear who was thirty years of age, are his widow, who was formerly Miss Olive Sauer of Rockford, and two children, Francis and Marie. BEAR, of Freeport, passed away there at the St, Francis hospital, Saturday morning, from spinal meningitis, for which he had been treated in the hospital for three weeks.
